A slight deviation from the plan.

We have decided to go up the coast to Streaky Bay, and head for Esperance from there, rather than from here (Port Lincoln).

So, as I suspected, Mr Cornell was absolutely correct. The rhum line from Port Lincoln to Esperance is forecasted as strong Westerlies, whilst the line further up into the Bight shows variables.

One more day to enjoy this pretty town, and watch the tuna boats coming and going.

Believe it or not we have met two couples on yachts circumnavigating from Perth here, Easy Tiger and Zofia, who left Mandurah to head East. Very useful info swapping sessions have been enjoyed, not to mention a glass or two and the chance to inspect a lovely Fusion cat and a pretty Jeanneau.
