Gold Coast Seaway

Hello from at anchor opposite Seaworld!
We had a fairly good run down from Moreton Island, leaving at 06.30. Some motoring was needed but by mid afternoon ESE blew in at 15 knots +, so it was champagne sailing for quite some time :-)
True to form we arrived at the seaway in the dark, and once again Mike blew me away with his navigational and boat handling skills, he sees things from miles away that I don't see until we're on top of them, well done to him.  Anchoring in the dark was horrible, don't want to do that again, but at least we held well.  It's very busy here with boats and jetskis buzzing around.  We plan on staying a couple of days before heading off to Coffs Harbour.
Here's a photo of a South Stradbroke Island sunset as we passed last night.
